STAINED GLASS WINDOWS

Large and brilliant stained glass windows, some of the most beautiful and historic in our city, create an inspiring atmosphere of worship, joy, and reverence. Most windows date to 1906 when our sanctuary was built, while others were commissioned to accompany the various expansions and renovations, creating a wide variety in style and color. A few windows were salvaged from our second building, which was built in 1886 and located at 16th and Harney.

 

Our stained glass windows are both realistic and symbolic, illustrating biblical stories and depicting people of biblical and Christian history.
